The WA Ladyhawks Simpson Gold team finished tied for 9th at two major national tournaments, the Triple Crown National Championship in California and the Independence Day Tournament (IDT) in Colorado. Top tier teams came from all over the nation for these events.

The Ladyhawks Simpson Gold team took eventual Last Blast Champions SoCal Athletics Mercado/Smith to two extra innings before finally falling 0-1 in international tiebreaker rules. The Ladyhawks finished tied for 9tht 55 teams after beating BSC Bengals and Lil Rebels in bracket play.
