Coaching Philosophy
Creating a Competitive and Intense Practice Environment
- Players and Coaches need to maintain exceptional concentration during practice sessions.
- Prepare players and coaches for all possible game situations to ensure composure under pressure.
- Create a culture where the players want pressure so they can excel in games with ease.
Lead with Passion and Excitement
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment, inspiring athletes to embody your coaching styles.
- Come prepared with a plan to let your players know you're all in.
- Players should get ready to work hard. Team captains should set this culture.
Support Every Player
- Never give up on any athlete - every team member has value. Remember you selected them to be on your team.
- Ensure all players feel equally important, whether they are starters or support players.
- Top level coaches get everyone to buy into the betterment of the team not just the starters.
Earned Playing Time
- Playing time is based on hard work, dedication to the weight room, having knowledge of the game and the situations that arise while in battle, and performance in both practice and game.
Foster a Positive Mentality
- Help athletes develop resilience and a positive self-image to minimize the impact of failure.
- Mental training is a powerful gift make sure you incorporate it into your practice plans.
Team-First Mindset
- Encourage actions on and off the field that contribute to the overall success of the team.
- When we coach, we make decisions that are best for the team first not the individual athlete.
Inclusive Environment
- Create a space where athletes feel comfortable being themselves, free from judgement from others.
- Ensure all team members accept each other without judgement.
Attendance
- All players must participate fully in tournaments, committed or not.
- Practices are mandatory unless you notify us at least 28 hours in advance.
- Communication is essential.
- During organizational events, it is a requirement to attend all sessions related to your primary position.
